An aquascape is all about detail and finesse. Dennerle Natural Gravel Kongo is ideal for use to simulate glaciers, fallen rocks or gravel surfaces. Gravel consists of flat stones of various sizes. Once underwater, the dark gray color provides a beautiful contrast to fresh green plants. Fish generally feel more comfortable with dark gravel and it makes the colors stand out better. However, gravel is less suitable for bottom-dwelling fish such as Corydoras because it can be sharp.
It does not affect the hardness of the aquarium water. Wash well beforehand.
