Fluval BioMax 500g (A1456) is a high-quality biological filter media designed for use in external and internal aquarium filters. It provides a large adhesion surface for the growth of beneficial bacteria, essential for the biological purification of water.
Large porous material surface: Provides ideal conditions for the creation of colonies of nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas & Nitrobacter).
Ideal for all filters: Compatible with Fluval external filters, as well as other filters of corresponding dimensions.
Improves water quality: Helps reduce ammonia and nitrites, improving the stability of the aquarium ecosystem.

Instructions for Use:
Rinse the BioMax thoroughly with aquarium water before first use.
Place it in the appropriate compartment of the filter.
Do not change the entire amount at once, so as not to disturb the biological balance.
It is recommended to replace it every 6 months or when a decrease in flow or biological efficiency is observed.
