Bacopa salzmannii "Purple" is a relatively rare but very impressive aquarium plant, known for its leaves that take on a purple-purple-red hue under bright light. It is native to South America (mainly Brazil) and is often used as a highlight plant in planted aquariums.
Care tips:
If the light is weak, the plant remains green.
Regular pruning helps to keep it bushy and prevent the base from becoming woody.
Easily propagated by cuttings (cut off the top and replant in the substrate).
