AQUARIUMSHOP

The Cardinal Tetra is a small, extremely popular and striking aquarium fish. It stands out for its bright blue iridescent stripe along its body, combined with a strong red line that extends from the midbody to the tail – unlike the similar Neon Tetra, whose red line stops in the middle.
Care tips:
Cardinal Tetras are sensitive to sudden water changes, so they need good quality and stability in parameters.
They love slightly peaty/dark water (blackwater), especially if they come from a wild collection.
They combine excellently with Corydoras, Otocinclus, Rasboras, and small shrimp.
