Pomacanthus Imperator (Juvenile-Adult) S

Pomacanthus imperator, also known as the Emperor Angelfish, is one of the most striking and iconic marine angelfish. In its adult form, it stands out for its striking coloration with horizontal blue and yellow stripes, the bright yellow color on the tail and the characteristic black "mask" around the eyes. In nature, it is found in the tropical reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, where it lives in coral formations and rocky areas, searching for food throughout the day. It requires a spacious, mature marine aquarium with plenty of live rock, hiding places and free space for swimming. Excellent water quality and stability of parameters are essential for its long-term health. It is not considered completely reef safe, as it can bite large polyps of hard and soft corals, as well as some invertebrates, especially when it becomes an adult. For this reason it is mainly recommended for Fish Only With Live Rock (FOWLR) systems or for reef aquariums with carefully selected organisms.  ...More
