The standard biofilter medium with a large colonization area for bacterial cultures and high yield SUBSTRAT can be applied in one or more layers. It is a very porous filter material made of sintered glass. The surface structure provides the excellent cleaning bacteria with excellent colonization conditions. The colonization area is 450 μ² per liter.
EHEIM SUBSTRAT is suitable for fresh and seawater, washable and can be reused.
