Vertex Grounding Probe
The Vertex Titanium Grounding Probe is an inorganic electrical grounding probe for aquariums (marine or freshwater), which removes stray voltage that can be caused by pumps, heaters, lighting or other electrical components. It is made of titanium, which is resistant to corrosion (ideal for use in a marine environment). Its cable is a shielded copper cable, which means that it has a lower resistance when discharging the electrical charge compared to other grounding probes that use steel. It includes a suction cup for easy attachment to the aquarium and a cable several meters long for connection to a grounded outlet. It is installed simply: you immerse the probe in the aquarium water and connect the plug with the grounding outlet to the power.
