Hobby Catappa Leaves XL 12pcs.
Hobby Catappa Leaves XL are natural Indian almond leaves (*Terminalia catappa*), specially selected for aquarium use. They offer a natural way to enrich the aquatic environment and are particularly popular in aquariums housing shrimp, bettas, discus, and other sensitive fish species. As the leaves remain in the aquarium, they gradually release humic acids and tannins, creating a more natural environment and imparting a subtle amber hue to the water. They help support the fish's natural defenses and strengthen their mucous coating, while also aiding in stress reduction—especially during acclimatization or transport. For shrimp and other invertebrates, the leaves serve as an additional food source and a natural refuge. As they gradually decompose, they provide a surface for the growth of microorganisms that can be consumed as food. During breeding, Catappa leaves are also used to create more natural conditions and can help inhibit fungal growth on the eggs. ...More
Size: XL
Material: 100% natural Indian almond leaves (Terminalia catappa)
Natural active ingredients: Tannins and humic acids

Active substance release time: approx. 14 days
Place the leaf directly into the aquarium. One XL leaf is suitable for approximately 70–100 liters of water.
The leaf usually sinks to the bottom within 24–48 hours and gradually releases its natural substances over a period of about 14 days. A new leaf can then be added.
