Acropora sp 31
Acropora sp. is one of the most well-known and impressive hard corals (SPS – Small Polyp Stony) found in tropical reefs. In nature, it is mainly found in shallow reefs of the Indo-Pacific, where there is intense lighting and strong water circulation. In marine aquariums, it is considered a coral for more experienced hobbyists, as it requires very stable water parameters.
Placement in the aquarium:
It is usually placed high in the aquascape for better lighting
It needs enough space around it to grow
We avoid contact with other corals
Acropora is considered one of the most impressive corals in reef aquariums and is a key element for those who want to create an SPS dominated reef with bright colors and a natural reef appearance.

Water parameters:
For proper growth and intense colors, the values ??must be stable:
Temperature: 24 – 26°C
Salinity: 1.024 – 1.026
pH: 8.0 – 8.4
KH (Alkalinity): 7 – 9 dKH
Calcium (Ca): 400 – 450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg): 1250 – 1350 ppm
Nitrates (NO3): 1 – 10 ppm
Phosphorates (PO4): 0.01 – 0.05 ppm
Nutrition: Acropora obtains most of its energy from the symbiotic algae Zooxanthellae through photosynthesis.
However, it can benefit from: plankton coral foods, amino acids, liquid SPS foods
