Amphiprion Ocellaris M
Amphiprion ocellaris (also known as Ocellaris Clownfish or “Nemo”) is one of the most popular marine aquarium fish. It belongs to the Pomacentridae family and naturally lives in coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific, especially near anemones such as: Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla gigantea. The anemones protect it from predators thanks to the poison of their tentacles.
Behavior:
It can live alone or in pairs.
When two live together, the larger one becomes the female (the species changes sex).
It is relatively peaceful but defends its territory.
For beginners in the marine aquarium it is considered one of the best fish because: it is hardy, eats easily, adapts well to an aquarium.
Can coexist with:Chromis viridis, Pterapogon kauderni, Gobiodon okinawae, etc.
Avoid very aggressive fish.
