Dwarf spear leaf, to give it its common name, is one of the most popular aquarium plants of all time. These are outstanding foreground plants that require the minimum of care. Special attention must be paid to the rhizome when planting: the thickened shoot must not be covered by substrate. These small Anubias grow best when tied to stones or roots . They are also frequently used with cichlids from the Malawi and Tanganyika Lakes. This looks especially decorative among rock arrangements.
