STOFFELS
Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, hardy, slow-growing plant from West Africa. It has dark green, thick, oval leaves and a thick horizontal rhizome from which leaves and roots grow. Height usually 5–15 cm, width up to 15 cm.
The rhizome should not be buried in sand or gravel, because it rots.
Very resistant to fish that dig or nibble plants (e.g. cichlids, pleco).
It tolerates aquariums with low lighting or even without fertilization.
If it grows too much, you cut the rhizome and replant the piece.
