STOFFELS

Eleocharis pusilla (also known as Mini Dwarf Hairgrass) is one of the smallest Eleocharis species and an excellent choice for the front of an aquarium or creating a very low "carpet". The in vitro form means that it is grown in a sterile environment, free from snails, algae or parasites.
Size: 2–6 cm tall, thin hair-like leaves of bright green color.
Growth: Spreads via stolons (horizontal shoots), forming a dense carpet.
Difference from Eleocharis parvula: It is shorter and thinner, ideal for "nano" aquariums or foreground in aquascaping.
Growth rate: Moderate, but faster with sufficient light and CO2.
In the in vitro form, divide the plant into small tufts (1–2 cm) and plant them at distances of ~2–3 cm.
If not trimmed, it can grow up to ~6 cm and shade its base.
With periodic trimming it remains very low and spread out.  ...More

Aquarium conditions:
Temperature: 18–28 °C
pH: 5.5–7.5
GH: 2–8 °dGH
Lighting: Moderate to strong (strong lighting keeps it lower and denser)
CO2: Highly recommended (20–30 mg/L) for fast growth
Substrate: Nutritious and fine-grained (e.g. aquarium soil)
Water flow: Gentle to moderate
Due to its very low height, Eleocharis pusilla is ideal for Iwagumi-style aquascapes or for aquariums with shrimp and small schooling fish, but it does not tolerate large predatory fish that dig into the substrate.
