Common name: Dwarf Sagittaria
Origin: South and North America (rivers, shallow lakes)
Morphology:
Forms linear, lanceolate leaves like small ribbons.
Height: 5 – 15 cm (if there is intense lighting it stays low, in lower lighting it can reach 20–25 cm).
Reproduction: with lateral runners that create a "rug".
In the aquarium: mainly used as a foreground or mid-ground plant.

Temperature: 20 – 28 °C
pH: 6.5 – 7.5
GH/KH: medium to hard water (good resistance)
Lighting:
Moderate – strong light
In low light it grows taller and becomes "grass-like"
In strong light it stays shorter and forms dense mats
