Gyrinocheilus Aymonieri Gold

Also known as the Golden Chinese Algae Eater, it is a striking golden-colored variety of the popular species Gyrinocheilus aymonieri. It stands out for its intense golden-yellow color and the special shape of its body, making it a unique addition to large community aquariums. In nature, it is found in rivers and streams of Southeast Asia, where it uses its specially shaped mouth like a “suction cup” to adhere to surfaces and remove algae. In the aquarium, it helps control certain types of algae, especially when young, but as it grows, its diet should be enriched with special bottom foods and plant foods.
